October 2008 – Roz and I went to visit Auschwitz to see the holocaust museum.
German Nazi Concentration and Extermination Camp (1940-1945)

I think that any person that can afford to travel needs to come there. This visit can really help to put your life in perspective. This is the ultimate starting point.

The camp is broken up to in to many sections. 2 x 15-foot electric barbwire fences with guard towers surround the entire place.
Most of the camp was a giant dormitory that is now converted in to museums that are very informative. The first part of the museum is rooms that are filled with hair, shoes, glasses, and prosthetic limbs, toys, on and on. This area is probably the most disturbing museum exhibit on the planet.
